Kevin Kraus is a professional musician, composer, and songwriter living in Orlando, Florida. He earned his first degree, a B.A. in Music Education, from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. While at Miami, Kevin performed in several music ensembles, including the MU Wind Ensemble, Steel Band, and Athletic Bands. In addition to these groups, he sang with the Miami Men’s Glee Club and was part of two album recordings. One of these recordings was part of a collaboration with Ars Veritas in Gothenburg, Sweden. Kevin was also involved with the Stage Left Theatre Company at MU, playing trumpet in several shows such as Company, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Sweeney Todd, and he directed the pit orchestra for their production of Heathers.
Kevin earned his second degree, a B.S. in Music Production, from Full Sail University. While at Full Sail, he wrote music for films, video games, and other types of visual media. In addition to his work as a freelance music professional, he works as a Lab Specialist in the Music Production program at Full Sail.
His ultimate musical goal is to compose music for theme parks, ideally the Disney Parks.
